A Home of Our Own.

As you may know, over the past few months we have looked at dozens of houses and placed offers on several. We are finally getting close. It's hard to get excited after so much let down, but it is finally starting to feel real. We might be home owners soon!

This is the very first house we looked at way back in August...

In August this house was a foreclosure and boy did it need some work! A contractor bought the house and flipped it. He made quite a few improvements including a new roof and new flooring... along with some other things.

Our offer on this house was accepted back in April. We had a contractor look at the house and he says everything seems to look good... now we are waiting for the appraisal. The appraisal is this coming Tuesday {our anniversary} and we are hoping it goes well. Tentative closing date: June 10th.
