We are in Gold Beach again. Last night {Saturday} we went to an
event with the youth group. It was really fun and there were a lot more students than were expected. Today {Sunday} we had a
brunch before church to introduce ourselves to the congregation and Anthony answered questions. They voted this evening for whether they
want Anthony as the youth pastor or not. They want him!
So it is official we
will be moving to Gold Beach very soon. We are sad to be far away from family, but we are excited for this next step in our lives and the opportunities God has for us in Gold Beach. Yesterday we looked at a couple of rentals and we found a very small one bedroom house. It overlooks the park and has an ocean view and is really close to the church. I think it is smaller than our apartment now... but that's alright because it's a house! It looks great on the outside, but the inside will need some work. We plan to do some painting and the owner plans to do some remodeling later on down the road.
Tomorrow {Monday} is our one year anniversary so we are going to the Redwoods since it’s so close. I am pretty excited about it since I have never been there!
